This is literally the most unorganized school staff ever, I was called 4 days before graduation and was told my brother wouldn’t be walking the stage because his teacher decided to go back 4 DAYS before graduation, and check the times he was completing his modules at, apparently they were only supposed to be completed at a certain class period, but my question is, why was this brought to his attention 4 days before graduating? they made him stay in school and try to finish the work he “cheated on” (seniors are out of school before any other students but he still went in, to work on the modules he had already done though out the school year) if these modules were supposed to be completed at a certain time why were they not locked? Why could he just access them and do his work during other periods even at home? Also, why was this not caught by the teacher throughout the whole school year? I’m positive he didn’t go through every single students times because there was multiple other students doing this that walked.(His counselor called me and left me a voicemail stating that he could possibly still graduate and walk without having to do summer school if he kept going into school and continued to work hard on the modules he had to redo, I let my brother know what she said, so he went in to the school and was sent back home, I called the school to ask why he was sent back home if his counselor left me a voicemail saying he could still walk if he went into complete the work, I was transferred to her and she said “I don’t understand why he is telling you I said that I never told him that” I got really frustrated since she was accusing him of lying and I told her SHE was the one that called ME and left ME a voicemail saying he could go in, and I still have the voicemail saved where she clearly stated that) My brother had to attend summer school only for him to finish it in one day. And then his counselor has the audacity to email me and ask me to schedule a day to take some pictures with his cap and gown and the family receiving his diploma with the principal because she still wants to make his graduation “a big deal” for him. It would’ve been a big deal if he could’ve walked the stage like he deserved to, he felt robbed especially since his grades were always good and he always worked hard. They need to get it together it’s ridiculous

Front office staff are always rude. They make it seem like a chore when it comes to helping a parent out. Dont expect much help from there end. Had my son drop off food for my daughter at the school and they kicked him out and had a cop ESCORT him out. Not very friendly would avoid this school entirely. The teachers here however are very nice and work very hard.

My experience at JHS was the most valuable part of my life so far. I had so many chances to get involved with sports, clubs, and academics and with so many opportunities unique to the student life of a Knight you can't compare it to anything else. The staff here went above and beyond to prepare me for what was next in my life, and if you are willing to put the effort in, you will get nothing but positivity back.

Johnson High School is a very good school in academics and curriculum. it has very good teachers and para professionals to help your child to stay on track. The assistance, attention and care is tremendous. All a parent has to do is get involved with seeing their child through and keeping in contact with his or her teacher as needed and staying abreast of their child's grades and progress. It is our responsibility as a parent to work hard to make sure our child is not left behind. A proud parent of Johnson High with a student who is a Senior this school year. My child has been attending Johnson High since second Semester of 10th grade. Johnson High is a well hidden secret in the NE GA, open to ambitious students willing to succeed. And yes the school is up-to-date on technology for a rural- like suburbia area.
