My daughter just finished 4th grade at Bartley. She went into 4th grade hating to read and reading below her grade level. We had tried everything to get her interested in reading. She was in Ms. WARREN'S class this year and now loves reading and now reads at grade level. I would like to thank Ms.Warren for getting my daughter engaged in reading.

Most of the staff are awesome, however, I feel that students who behave well get overlooked quite a bit. The principal has a lot to be desired... when students move on to Middle School and choose to move out of the district, the principal didn't want to give those students awards they had earned. Parent volunteers were treated very rudely once their kids hit the 5th grade (knowing they would not be there the following year. Also, too much time is spent "prepping" for the MAP tests instead of teaching what people need to truly learn. They do encourage Parent involvement. The new playground equipment was purchased by their PTO.
