I believe Frostproof Middle Senior High School is a horrible school. The majority of teachers and staff do not care about their students, they only care about how the students make them look so they can get paid. Your teaching methods do not work, you can see that from test reports, grades, overall county reports, etc. Not only is the teaching horrible, but not giving certain students that need more help than others the proper material even when parents of that student ask for it, and the school does not do anything to help them. If the staff believe that your child doesn't need extra help (even if they do) they will not give it to your child. Also making injured students (who have a doctor’s note) do heavylifting is outrageous and so out of reach especially when the “adults” (teachers and staff) say that they “want the best for us students”. This school does nothing at all about their students health or mental health. Instead of helping us, they criticize us behind our backs. Teachers and staff talk negatively about students and always looking for people to put down. Staff like to pick and choose students they want to be “friends” with, I see that as very unprofessional. I believe it’s perfectly fine to be friends with students but, you cannot treat one student with so much respect and another student with zero respect. This is also targeted at one specific staff member of FHS. The dress code is understandable, but letting certain kids walk around wearing whatever they please but then writing up the other kids are unfair, that's the picking and choosing that should not be allowed. As adults of the school (teachers and staff) y'all need to do better. The next generation of students won’t have any knowledge of “real-world problems” if y'all do not help us. Us students are at school under your care for most of our lives, k-12, 7 hours a day for 7 days a week. The least y'all could do is treat your students with respect and provide us an actual caring, safe environment, which you have failed numerous times.

This high school/middle school is not one that should be recommended as it is atrocious. First off the staff do not care for a student's well being unless a lawsuit or police are brought into the matter. The year before a girl was attacked and filed battery against another student, the school was told on about other occasions of the attacker following the victim before only for the staff to ignore. The band director is conducting the worst band I have yet to see as I was a band student in his class and watched his treatment to his players. He has not shown up to marching practices yet holds students to higher expectation than him, and not only that, but he also does not write his own marching sheets for the band and opts for just buying them each year. If this does not shout "Do Not Go Here!" I'm not sure what will.

FMSHS is a fabulous school with a great faculty and a wonderful support staff. The most understanding and caring staff that a parent could ask for for their children. The dedicated professionals give these students a top level education and prepare them for the world ahead.

FM/-SHS has an amazing principal, great teachers that are friendly and ready to assist a student if he/she is struggling, and an awesome staff outside of the classroom (Office workers, Custodians, Librarians, and Cafeteria workers.
