i wouldn't recommend this school what so ever because of the bathroom, staff and more that i could tell. 1) if your trying to use the restroom well you cant even if you tried to do too. The amount of kids in there smoking, selling and Not to say there bathroom are horrible and there staff just horrible at doing their jobs. 2) If you think your safe in this school WRONG there will always be fighting.3) the lunch here are sometime expired and so on.4) Like i said again if you even tried to use the bathroom you cant because guess what of the kids smoking in there or they just close them for no reason and they would be close for 2-4 days- Im a current student Right Now till 2024

Absolutely love it here! Everyone is so kind to one another and you’ll never see any disrespect towards the staff or students. I’m involved in many extracurriculars and rigorous classes at Sunnyside and I feel welcomed in very single one of them. This school doesn’t fail to let you know you’re wanted and appreciated by everyone!

Sunnyside was one of my first school i have ever been in, grate school and teachers as will.

The school has some teachers who believe that their only function is to instill fear and respect of the law. This kind of testy attitude allows them to hyper-focus on behavior in place of learning. There is a hostility exhibited by various staff and PE coaches against outsiders. SSH came on the news for a bullying teach-in taught by students, however, I never saw students who look more unsure of themselves.

Very friendly kids! Diversity! active school! Many positive clubs to join! Many valedictorian! Great graduation! A lot of student going to great universities! good athletic competition! Just an overall good high school!

Sunnyside is a great school. They are slightly more focused on the medical field. They are largely known for there Doctor's Academy and public Human service programs. They offer a wide range of clubs in which I've seen many parents involved in. They have tutoring programs available before and after school. Sunnyside high school has many opportunities like visiting universities and ivi league schools or going out of town to volunteer as well as volunteering for our community. If your a student that likes to get involved , there are many things to choose from at Sunnyside high school.
