Our kids just started here. We aren't thrilled w this school. But until we move, we're stuck. Oh well. But a big complaint we have that immediately sticks out? The school crossing system. They have several, but the worst a$hat is the Hispanic male in the reflective tops & gloves. He will make traffic stop on their green light to allow those waiting for crossing sign to flash, an thend stay there for all the stragglers that are running far away. I can be at my green light, get stuck half way out waiting on my turn, an the red light hits bc he waited in the middle for so many people that weren't at the light waiting. And THEN go to the other side an do it again. He has no care about the traffic piling up waiting for him. It's ridiculous.

I absolutely love Roeding Elementary! My son has autism and was transferred here in the first grade to at attend an SDC. He was only speaking a few words. By the end of his first school year here his vocabulary has improved tremendously. He is now in the 4th grade still in an SDC. I did all that I can for him to continue attending this school. I went as far as driving clearly across town for him to attend Roeding. The staff and teachers are great. They are so involved. I definitely recommend this school.

My two boys go to Roeding right now and I have an older daughter that used to go here. Mr G the principal is a great guy I always see him around and he's heavily involved and that's a good thing. The office staff is always helpful and friendly and there are many great teachers that teach here. The down side would be that there are too many kids at this school with MAJOR behavior issues and it seems no punishments are ever given unless a child does something very very serious!! My second grader has been bullied here many of times and the first chance I get I'm transferring both my boys out!!!!

My child attends this school right now and has since he started preschool. The principal Mr.G is very involved and that's a great thing. My son has had really good luck with 3 great teachers in a row. The only thing that bothers me is I've noticed there's a lot of kids with major behavior issues and it seems that no real punishment is ever given unless they do something real serious.

I have 3 children that go to this school....I am very sad that my oldest has to transfer because the 6th grade teacher's are not the best. other then that this school is awesome. Mr.G and Mrs. Bride are the best. They truly care about the kids and I am sad my 6th grader needs to transfer. definitely recommended this school

Roeding School is amazing! My child was not reading entering from another school and now is reading fluently on grade-level. The staff is supportive and cares about kids. There are lots of family activities that they hold for students and parents (like movie nights, BINGO nights and a school carnival). Roeding is a great school.
