As long as your kid is white, athletic, non special needs, and Mormon for bonus points your family will succeed here. Otherwise, run! The students are not given challenging work. Lots of filling in the blanks on worksheets and using notes on all tests. The kids are not challenged. The kids going into high school cannot identify quotation marks and exclamation marks! There is a lack of fine arts programs. The sports facilities are state of the art. Meanwhile, the autorium is from the 80s with bricks holding some seats together. Children will blatenly use racial slurs in the hallways, target minority children for bullying. The only reason your diversity score is high on here is because the whole five minorities in the school perform well on testing. If you want to paint a true picture of what goes on here look at the record of minority families driven out of this town.

I had a great experience at this school. The staff was excellent and attentive to my educational needs.

Wow! I think this is a really great school district. I see some negative comments, but I realize that most are old postings-with the exception of one student. So much can change in 5 years. My children have attended this district for 3 years and love the school and the teachers. They have been challenged while enjoying their learning experience. The students are nice, and mine aren't athletic. Parent involvement is welcome, and it is evident that parent/teacher communication is imperative for successful learning. There is a sense of pride and community in this school district, and I'm glad my children attend Frenchtown schools!

There are some great teachers. There are more poor teachers that just don't care about the students. We watch a lot of movies. School is a waste of time
