I think the review that states new administration is slacking is ridiculous. Our new principal is constantly trying to come up with new ways to help the school and get parents involved. As for different ethnicities and cultures in the school… there’s differences in every kid in every class. The teachers go above and beyond and love it when parents are involved.

Prior to the new administration, I would have given this school a 4.5. However, since the lovely principal retired, the new one leaves a lot to be desired. Teachers do not communicate and if you don’t constantly reach out, you will not know what your child is working on. I wouldn’t recommend this school at all and happy that my child is going to middle soon. A lot of people have left once the old principal left and I wish I would have followed suit. Diversity is a joke. As a parent of a biracial child l, there may be a total of 5 -6people of color (including teachers that haven’t quit yet) They’ve done little to celebrate these differences. Do yourself a favor .. if this is the only school you have an option for, home school!

Franklinville is a caring, devoted to learning, hard working, top quality teachers that work hard to get parents to participate. I believe that the majority of teachers really care about the children and want to see them excel.
