Clark Elementary is wonderful! I was worried at first. My son has autism, even though high functioning, he has other health needs as well. This school has bent over backwards to make sure my sons needs are met. He is given 2 sensory breaks a day and they even help the other students understand how and why my son is different to curb any bullying. I am very pleased with the teachers, nurse, principal and all others that have helped my son learn to love school. Thank You Clark Elementary!

Clark is exceptional! This school helps make my child well rounded. He gets the traditional Science, Math and English, but I am very pleased with his other teachers-such as gym and art. We LOVE Clark and are going to miss it when he moves to the intermediate school.

My son has been attending Clark from first to third grade and my daughter just started kindergarden there. I absolutely LOVE this school. The teachers are the best. My son is ADHD and his teacher has worked hands on with him since the beginning. As a parent, I know how challenging it can be and he never gave up, always pushed him to do his best and to achieve all he wanted and knew he could be. My daughter is in K and is reading at a first grade level. The teachers have open doors and are always happy to communicate with parents. I cant wait to move back to the south side and get my kids back in this school!

Clark Elementary is a wonderful school full of caring staff members who will do anything that is needed to help a student. Our parent support is unbelievable and shows in all that we do. I love CES!

II love this school overall. I have been very pleased with the teachers the past 3 years. This year has been a little more difficult, but the teacher does respond quickly with e-mail. I have also had interactions with both the principal and vice-principal. I have been impressed with how they handle situations and interact with the students.

My son has gone to clark for 3 years, he struggles and I generally have to help him at home for hours because he hasn't learned the material. I have been concerned about his homework only to discover he has not been turning any in, was someone going to inform me that he was missing assignments?? NO! They are overwhelmed, my son is falling behind but they offer no help because there just isn't enough staff for all the children! They run/skip/play down the halls! I will say I really think the principal does an amazing job trying to keep up with the kids and I really like her. I don't care for her assistant who is judgemental and rude. I've never had a positive interaction with her.

I am a parent of a 2nd grader, and I am not happy with the progress my daughter has received from this school. The teachers do not inform you if they see your child struggling. The parent is the one that has to bring it to the teachers attention. They say that they will try to evaluate and get the help needed, IF there is room for them in that class. I am sorry, but if your child is struggling that child needs to be pulled out for that extra help no matter what. So my question is then that i guess if there is no more for my child, then they will continue to struggle and be pushed through the system!!!
