When I was a student here at Fostoria Elementary when I got bullied my teacher put a stop to it real quick. And things like that also there is no such thing as a perfect school there at Fostoria they have their ups and their downs. Some schools have more downs and just need some help improving. Another example is when I got my stuff stolen they got it back to me and helped me figure out you took it, another example is when I needed more help understanding something the people there helped me, also there when I was there, there was an after school Intervention and I got the help I needed and I even met a lot of amazing people and they helped me.

This school is brand new; a combination of staff from 3 different schools in the district. Being a teacher in this building, I can attest to the high standards requested of the students and the effort put forth by the staff. We may not always meet the state requirement of test scores, but the progress individual students make each and every day is astounding! The staff here look at each individual students needs and tailor education towards them; a 3rd grader reading at a 1st grade level is provided intervention to fill in the gaps where a 6th grader performig at an 8th grade level in math gets the enrichment they deserve. This is what makes good teachers and goood schools, not test scores. I can't wait to see what continues to happen to this school as the years go on!
