    Best VPK in the area hands down! When I was researching schools I was impressed that they wrote me right back offering a school tour. The parent handbook is available online so, by the time I had a tour, I already knew what all their policies were. I have found that a lot of schools are not that transparent and it makes me wonder what they're hiding. FUMS is very very open with parents. If there's an incident it's sent to the parent immediately. My daughter has ADHD and is impulsive. I had two situations where the teacher pulled me aside and let me know what was going on. It was a very "we love her. Let's work together to solve this issue" kind of situation. Every staff member is very caring and loves the kids. They move around a lot and have different centers. They do art, music, science projects, so many fun activities. They do require a lot of parent involvement. They learn reading, writing and cutting with scissors. It's been a great experience for us. We definitely recommend it.
