This is school is okay has a weird dress code only solid colors I don't like neither do a lot of parents the school code is out dated and needs to be updated either wear uniforms or have freedom they're elementary kids. The temporary school is tacky and they don't have enough money to supply kids for activities like art and music. Warming academically they're okay but the experience is not what you want your kid to have!

This is a great school. Military dependents face special challenges. The staff at the school recognizes how unique and precious your child is. I have one child that attended through 6th grade & one that currently attends. If you have orders to come to Fort Rucker, I encourage you to live on post so your children can go to a school with a qualified & loving staff. Whether you have a special needs child or a TAG child, their needs will be met. One big thing they take very seriously is SAFETY. They are always looking at and updating safety protocol when needed. When your child is in 5th & 6th grade it can be quite a challenge keeping up with all of their teachers. Your child will have 3 main curriculum teachers plus, gym, art, music & possibly TAG or special needs. Out of all of those teachers we only had communication problems with one. Phone calls & emails rarely were returned by that one teacher unless we called the Principal. All the other teachers were wonderful at getting back with us right away.
