Chester A. Moore Elementary (CAM) has the best staff and administrators! The moment you walk in, it is evident that this is a caring place, greeted with friendly smiles and welcoming attitudes. When I talk to the teachers they say, 'This is the best place to work' - the teachers feel supported, and their happiness is reflected in the classroom. CAM has the hardest working, humble, and passionate teachers; they focus on every student’s individual needs and safety. The CAM family takes the time to know your child. It is a joyful place where kids are nurtured and seen, where individuals are appreciated and honored for the unique contributions they make to the community. Chester A. Moore Elementary is truly a school where excellence is believed and achieved by all.

All of the staff works diligently to ensure students are successful in their academic achievements. Parents work closely with parents to ensure each child makes it to school on time and ready to learn.

T but majority of the kids that go to this school come from families that just don't care about education. To them, school is another word for fhe staff try,ree babysitting. There are lots of fights at this school, lots of kids get held back, so many of the 5th graders look like high schoolers, no kidding. It is set in a terrible neighborhood, where drugs are rampant, and the school goes in lock down often b/c of crime in the area, and no one tells the parents. My kids was a very smart kid, in a class that was way behind. It was a waste for my kids to go there at all. AI do not recommend this school at all. We were all so relieved to finally get away from there.
