Ok so heres the deal I went here for grades 1-5, I'm about to start 7th grade but I was at the top of my class in 6th grade, because of this school and the caring staff I'm one of the smartest people in my grade. I can say so much about this school most of them being good, but there are some flaws. I'll start with the good, My FSA scores were always high {4 on math 5 on reading} I've never once failed an important test, and the staff is amazing for the most part but some do play favorites, I had an amazing teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade {yes the same teacher, no I didnt stay back} she loved us so much and she played a big part in who I am today she even still keeps in touch with me and several of my friends to help us out but its not just her the, its the principals, the conselours, and even the lunch ladies. I even had the opportunity to be on the morning anouncments from grades 3-5 and that also helped me a lot with confidence, speaking, and finding out what I wanted to do with my life. Theres so much more to talk about with this school I made some really amazing friends, and although bullying does happen its rare and we all stand up for each other. The school is located in a dangerous area so there are many code reds and stuff but nothing serious ever rlly happens and you get used to it, also thats not a flaw of the school its a flaw of the NEIGHBORHOOD/AREA the school is in. Also I'm not just smart all of the people I know from here has never failed the FSA snd the lowest final grade theyve gotten was a C or F AT WORST cuz they were bad. Also I cant rlly speak on the special education. Another thing they have pretty good aftercares and in school programs. If you take anything away from this very long review take this its an amazing school and I couldnt have asked God for a better one.

Bullying from a teacher. You need to check teachers out before you hire them! Enough said!

Overall, Dillard Elementary school is amazing! My child receives meaningful homework Monday- Thursday. My child's teacher and I are in constant communication and my child is excelling. I haven't had any negative interactions with the administration at this school. Dillard is definitely a school I would recommend.

Dillard elementary is a great school. The school needs to be monitored differently for the parents and people coming on campus. The parents are the ones that seem to make the school fall below standards. Its sad to say if the children are expected to dress in a uniform manner than the adults should also be expected to do the same. This school would be a better place if some HIGH profile monitoring was in effect.

Bullying from students and some of the teachers, rude staff (especially the older lady at the desk) and favoritism. Principal sweeps situations under the rug. This school needs to be shut down. It's just full of women in the union that clock in for a check and present a fashion show. Unorganized and unprofessional. The staff along represents what type of principal they have. It's's gone from bad to worse!!!

Dillard Elementary is an awesome school. Great teachers and staff. My son has been there since kindergarten and I love the skills he has learned.

I HATE Dillard elementary! The staff is unprofessional and the students are HORRIBLE, disrespectful. on the 1st day of school me and my husband were the only ones that bought school supplies, and teachers used it with other kids and complained about bringin more.... Teacher talk and treat kids any kind of way! Teachers here just want a check, and don't really care about the child's education. Your child has no choice but to fight and defend themselves at Dillard, because they will be bullied especially if they are quiet and school oriented.. Dillare is a horrible school

The kidsat this school are very bad and rude. The teachers are also rude they talk to the kids any way, you have some good teachers but they are not notice. My experience with dillard elementary has been terrible. My kids have been bullied and the principle has not done anything about it. I have been out to that school multiple times complaining and it goes unheard. My kids have been beaten nose bloody teacher push my child down and nothing is done about it. Its bothers me that the school allow kids to bully other kids. Something needs to be done about this school because its not safe.
