Excellent school community where everyone is welcome and valued. The school district's goal is to prepare tomorrow’s critical thinkers and global citizens through language acquisition and inquiry-driven study. Students are encouraged to think for oneself, think about others and think beyond today. Very caring staff and great support from families and the community at large.

Our children are thriving at LILA. We appreciate the open communication from both teachers and administration, excellent instruction in the target language, and plenty of extra curricular options.

Classes too large. Huge teacher turnover, and teachers are not very qualified nor experienced. Doesn't have programs for lower level students, nor basic skills help for the upper grades. Very little class offerings, not many advanced classes. The school flies by the seat of their pants, is disorganized and lacks teacher experience. Some classes are over 30 kids. Building too small, not enough electives.
