Oak park elementary school is amazing. I highly recommend. They have a very good education program to help students. If the students are obove the grade level they have a gifted and talented education program in their regular class to meet their educational needs. If the students are under grade level they do a special care to teach each student for an hour after school. They motivate students to help each other and they reward for good behaviors. The principal and teachers are very friendly and nice. Teachers are long-serving and very experienced so it helps students in many way. Even the safety man Davis on the intersection always shakes his hand welcomely and smiles to everyone and it makes all the family very happy. I love everything!

Oak Park Elementary takes the time to teach students how to be nice to each other, how to help each other, kids get rewarded for good behaviors. The principal and teachers stay involved in activities with kids outside the classroom, and really make me as a parent feel the really care about the students. There are rules to follow and teachers, the principal and staff make sure rules get followed. The PTA keeps students constantly involved in different activities which maintains a happy and friendly environment.

The teachers are very caring and hard working. Whenever my child needs help, they have gotten the help they needed and the teachers have done an amazing job communicating with me. However, I have heard some of the comments that have been said to students by the supervising staff on the playground to students, and was not too pleased with this. It seems that discipline issues are not dealt with on the playground. It would be nice to also see more activities to get the kids more involved at school.

Oak Park has been an amazing experience for my children. The teachers and the principal are very involved with the parents and have great communication. They also make sure that each student is challenged and learning at a pace that is apropiate for their skill level. My oldest will be moving on to jr high after this year and I only hope our next experience with another school will be as great as the one we have had at Oak Park.
