Discovery offers a strong academic environment in the typical subjects but with the benefit of openly discussing and implementing the Bible into the classroom regularly as a part of the school day. Knowing that the morals and standards taught at home are reinforced at school set my mind at ease. It is a wonderful blessing to know that my children (now DCS graduates) were able to receive a Christ-centered, rigorous education. I highly recommend Discovery to anyone who is looking for a school that offers a family environment with a Christ-centered education that also prepares the student to enter the next phase of life. Once a Lion, always a Lion!

Sending our children to Discovery Christian has been one of the best decisions our family made. From the 1st day we knew we were at home. The feeling of peace knowing they are in a safe and loving environment is invaluable. The staff goes above and beyond, showing genuine care and concern for each child. Beyond academics, I appreciate the emphasis on teaching responsibility and incorporating Godly values into their lessons. It's clear that the school is dedicated to the whole development of its students, both academically and spiritually. I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking a supportive and nurturing learning experience.

As a parent , I can confidently say that Discovery Christian School provides an outstanding educational experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this is a place where students are not just educated but truly nurtured. The school offers a perfect balance of academic rigor and personal development, which makes it stand out in the community. The teaching staff at Discovery is exceptional. They are not only knowledgeable but genuinely care about the success and well-being of each student. They go above and beyond to make sure every student feels supported and encouraged. The classrooms are small, and the teachers employ innovative techniques to keep students engaged and excited about learning. We love Discovery

This school is no longer a Christian or even a safe environment for students or even the teachers looking for a new place to work. The discipline system is out of control, fights and violence among students occur and little is done about it or to prevent it. The school itself has also engaged in behavior that I find suspicious in order to gain extra money. New rules have been instigated in the middle of the year that completely change the situation of many of the students who enrolled. Not only are these rules oppressive, they are also incredibly concerning in my opinion. For example, if a student tragically suffers the loss of a parent, they are only given THREE DAYS to be absent. I have also witnessed to many situations in which communication between parents and children was not supported, suggested, or even allowed upon request, in cases where it absolutely should have been. Something is not right at this place. These are only a few examples of the issues that have risen due to the nature of the toxic environment, as I cannot go into detail about it all. I will be surprised if this school makes it another year. Please do not come here if you wish for the safe Christian environment that is advertised.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Discovery Christian School. The institution is owned by a single family, with the headmaster being a family member and and face of the school. Though run by a "board", the board has been hand picked by the ruling family from those who will support their agenda. This lead to a very cliquish atmosphere where you were either in or you were out and if you were out, you knew it. This has fostered a noticeable differential treatment of both students and teachers, often based on the headmaster's personal opinions and the financial contributions of parents. The headmaster has be observed speaking negativly about parents, students and other teachers to those within the clique on several occasions. The lack of integrity in leadership is evident, with frequent mid-year job losses among faculty and staff, only to be replaced through nepotism. The poor teacher retention and inconsistent treatment of students undermine the school's credibility and overall educational environment. I would strongly advise considering other options for a more equitable and professional educational experience.
