    An absolute disaster. They tell you you will have local teachers, face to face opportunities and that this is a great option to keep tax money in your community. The truth is the teachers are mostly non responsive, and certainly not helpful and the office running it is terribly understaffed. They had no guidance counselor for high school for an entire year!! You are MUCH BETTER OFF just going to Florida Virtual School which has the exact same curriculum and platform only with teachers who actually have oversight and a responsibility to communicate with students and parents.

    My daughter and I love connections academy! They offer great learning materials and peace of mind.

    This is a virtual school in Florida where course work is completed via teleconference and live computer sessions. It s a fantastic alternative to the increasing bureaucratic and possibly dangerous brick and mortar buildings. I ve been able to sit in on virtual lessons and they are fantastic. My child can reach teachers with a single phone call and they have an administrative staff that simply runs circles around other schools. Recently the leadership in the school received innovator of year award and for good reason. Parents act as coaches whereas other schools mostly only give lip service to parental involvement. Not all schools are for everyone, but 6th grade in this school is fantastic for my child.
