There always fights going on at this school. Also, the school are fed up with kids at this point. They will suspend you over and over throughout the school uear for anything.

My daughter has been at Griffith Elementary since she was in headstart to 3 grade and we never had any problems with any teachers. I love the district and that's why I want my children to attend the school. So 2015-2016 school I will be welcoming her back starting 5th grade nd my sons will be new entering 1st grade and headstart.

As a new teacher at this school, I would have to state that this school is a community. Dr. Lewis brings education to the levels of the students and holds them responsible for their actions. There are improvements that could be made, but parent involvement would be the best medicine for this school. I am a proud Griffith Dragon!

This school is attentive, caring and responsive to the needs of the students. I have a child that needs IEP. She has improved tremendously over the last 3 years. Very pleased with her progress and the performance of the school.

As an Independent Arts Consultant, I could tell that this was a super positive school. I received a lot of smiles, eagerness, and positive feedback from the children and teachers in an after school arts workshop that I facilitated. It was some years ago, but I could tell that the audience and entire faculty environment was very receptive to the arts enrichment exercises that I taught!

Love the support of the teachers. Mr. Danes has a positive attitude. My sons think he is a COOL guy.

Parents need to be involved more at this school. There is a problem with discipline . The uncontrollable students are taking learning time away from others. The teachers are excellent but a new disciplinary system needs to be established.
