Teachers are allowed to freely exhibit prejudice, racism, and discrimination towards Black students, leading to a lack of recourse for parents as the district of Lincoln County does not condemn such conduct. As a result, Black students are unfairly treated.

Ralph Akins school. Well this is how my son first full week in TN public school went. I had talked to the teacher about not using corporal punishment on my child and that I was going to turn in a note stating that they could not use corporal punishment on my child. The teacher said OK, but the next day he came home and told me that he got in trouble at school and the teacher took him out side in the hall way and slapped his hands. I was mad but I really wasn't sure if he was telling the truth well a couple of day later I went to the school to have lunch with him and I had multiple students come up to me and tell me that he had been taken out into the hallway and while they were out off class they heard smacking sounds and when they returned my son was crying. I asked the principle about this and she said that five year olds lie. I called the board of education and the director told me that I can t be going around and accusing a teacher of striking my child. I just would like to know why they haven't looked up the video footage from the cameras.
