It was alright the education isn't that great here and the teachers are aren't really good and one of the teachers is actually sexist against the boys in her class

I agree with the recent reviewer. A lot of the negative reviews sound biased, considering there might be more (at home, after school, etc.) bothering the student. The staff isn't "horrendous", but "some" teachers take their position for granted. Middle school isn't all milk and honey, and you've got to push yourself in certain scenarios. This school isn't strict, but it provides a great academic experience.

As a fellow student of Randy Smith I feel like this school values academics, excellence, and equity. Granted, if you are in the wrong group in middle school bad things will happen but I would never describe any of the teachers here "horrendous"! All of my teachers and others were very helpful and made my day better. Recently I had a problem involving another student I went to the counselor and she was very nice and immediately catered to my needs. Mrs. Do helps everyone stay fit and set personal goals and achieve them. Mrs.Haugeberg teaches all the kids and goes over things until we understand fully and makes learning math great. Mrs.Pastro always plans fun activities to expand our horizons on learning more about coding. The teachers at this school are caring, sweet, and like a huge family. The Band/Orchestra program here is amazing. Mr.Lockwood is a great teacher who teaches everyone how to play and improve even the best players. The sports program here is superb, this school values teamwork and striving to your best. I've never had a problem with any teachers and most peers. I've made so many new friends and had fantastic experiences here at Randy Smith! Go Black Bears!

I agree with the other reviews, the staff's attitude is horrendous. They make my child feel unsafe, and they even get kids into trouble for unfair reasons. Once, I picked my child up after school, and she had a face full of tears. Her eyes were red, she was crying uncontrollably, and she told me it was because of one of the teachers. I'm not going to explain the reason because it's very personal. But in other words, students told me she was crying all period in one class and she's been suffering from depression because of it. I don't want a school that makes my child feel unsafe or unwanted.

One of the worst schools I've enrolled my child to. Try Ryan instead. The staff is rude, and my child is afraid to go to school because of it.

As a student, it made me feel worse than terrible. I've never experienced such a cruel school. I never bring myself up to write a review, but I've had enough with this school.
