Save your money and buy a house zoned to Cibolo Creek or Currington. My overall rating would be a 2 across the board . The teacher to student ratio is not the 18-1 as reported it’s more like 23-1 . There should be other questions asked on this survey that aren’t . What about curriculum? What about school lunches ? My kids came home excited that they actually had a HOT LUNCH ? Unacceptable !

Bullying is a big concern in this school, my daughter was bullied all the time, I did complain to the principal, who was nice and handle it decent matter but one of the teacher was horrible , they did ask her bunch of questions, she was already shy, she denied all after the pressure . She never said anything again but as mom i knew something was wrong we did move to another city , she is a happy and normal kid again, She told everybody in her new school how bad was she bullied in this school. Be aware they will put pressure in your kid if they said something that affect the school.

Great school. Both my kids attend here and we love it. The PTO is fantastic.

The PTO should also be commended. They are very active and really make the school a great place. I'm very excited and happy that my kids attend FORES and we are active in their education. I have always found staff easy to contact and got prompt replies about concerns. Again we have had EXCELLENT teachers. This is an AWESOME school.

The administration is artificial and doesn't care for the children in need of special assistance. There are many young teachers who can't handle strong willed children or their parents. Resources are scarce for special needs children and staff not willing to bend to help them. New principal is too soft to hold team accountable. High pressure to donate all year long and to join PTA. You don't get the small community feel that Fair Oaks used to be prior to the influx of families from other states. In summary, this school has grown too large to care for your children or their needs.

FORES is Best of the Best and a truly One-Of-A-Kind school. Our oldest son JB, went through K-6 and was offered all Pre AP classes at Boerne Middle School South in 7th and 8th grades. Our second grader is doing amazingly well since starting kinder and both of our children enjoyed their teachers, staff and other students in an atmosphere of nurturing and learning. The principal, Sandy Killo, her administration and the teachers at FORES are a shining example of what parents should expect far & wide! Probably why it's an exemplary elementary school in the Boerne Ind School District along with Boerne Middle School South (#1 in the San Antonio Metro Area) along with Samuel V. Champion High School (top 500 in the United States!).

We moved to this area from out of state (UT) and have been very impressed with FORES so far. One of our sons is in first grade and has (Niemeier) and the other son is in 5th and has (Philpott). They both are outstanding teachers! The 5th grade BOA trip is an amazing opportunity as well.

I am very happy with the school. My daughter is in the first great. She had an outstanding teacher in both kindergarten (ms walker) and first grade (ms evans). I had to go to India and ms evans and kilo both offered me to provide home school material for my daughter. Excellent teachers.

This is a terrific school. The teachers really care about the kids and keep parents in the loop. They challenge the kids. The Vice Principal is wonderful. She takes care of issues quickly and fairly. Very active PTO with lots of extra programs and opportunities for the kids.

This is an incredible school, maybe they put the wrong kid on safety patrol, but that does not take away from the fabulous teachers and their Exemplary rating year after year. I have three children there. While I could send them to private, what for, this school is outstanding!

I have been greatly pleased with FORE. I wish my elementary school was as good as this one. Very year, year after year Exemplary by TEA, Blue Ribbon School, rated one of the best in the State by Texas Monthly. Private school education at public school price.

The administrative staff at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary always go out of their way to make sure students needs are met. They meet weekly to address specific concerns and are proactively addressing each individual need including tracking throughout the year. This is a fabulous school...could not ask for better!

This principal and vice principal at this school are horrible. They consistently go out of their way to pamper and reward misbehaving kids while ignoring the well behaved children. They even put a kid on probation on safety patrol to boost his self confidence. The principal's kid was rewarded at every turn while in elementary and has already been called in for bullying at his first year in middle school Stay away from this school if you care about your children
