My son moved from Reed City Elementary to Evart Elementary last year. Between COVID changes, large class sizes and minimal 1:1 in Reed City, I had my son repeat grade 3, despite “passing.” I am so impressed with the team at Evart Elementary. His teacher was attentive, warm and kind and always willing to work with my son, and myself, when she identified areas of concern. The class sizes are smaller compared to Reed City and more 1:1 time is spent with students. The confidence my child gained in his first year of school at Evart is outstanding!!

Too many kids per teacher it may say on some sites there are 17 children per teacher but truthfully there are about 28 children per teacher! If a child is being bullied several times the school does nothing about it! Poor educated school kids learn nothing from this school.
