Mountain View is a wonderful school with high academic standards! My children have had a wonderful experience at this school. We are not zoned for this school, but we drive there so they can recieve the best education!

Excellent school with strong academics! I have a grandson who began PreK and is now in second grade. We drive here because it is a better school than we are zoned for.

I have three children at Mt View school. I am suprised by some of the remarks I have read here today. I got two emails just this week from two of the Jr High teachers about my daughter. They care! I do wish the P.E. teachers were more compassionate. I am shocked by some of the things they get away with, but Mt View has WONDERFUL teachers outside of gym. I think if parents tried harder to teach respect and values at home instead of waiting for teachers to do it, school would be easier for children. It also saddens me when parents brag about confrontation with staff. What are you teaching your child? Mt View could be better, sure, but it starts at home. We have great teachers, great lunch ladies, great aids, and maybe Rhonda is just shy:) This is a good school.

I am over 50 years old. You have got the rudest school secretary I have ever met. Gonna call me and act like a sick child is a burden to her. No compassion at all. Try to ask her questions and she is gonna get rude and just hang up. Hope she treats the children she comes into contact with with a little more compassion. And she has been rude to the child's mother so this is not just me thinking so. If she doesnt like her job or kids tell her to find another job!

Great school. Good discipline. Great staff. The only complaint I have is the PTA always schedules times to meet during "normal" business hours, which is fine if you don't have to work, but for those of us that do, we cannot attend.
