The teachers are wonderful, and the curriculum is adequate. However, there is a distinct and very distressing total lack of leadership by the Principal. It is unfortunate that in a district with generally smart and involved parents, that the Principal is basically missing in action. The school suffers greatly from this lack of leadership. For example, at orientation to 4th grade, instead of giving us information about the school, he tried to sell us knick knacks for the school's 100th anniversary. Really? And that is basically the only time we've seen him. My daughter is finishing 5th grade this year and I can't wait to be done with this school.

What a disappoint this school has been. The school is fine if your child is well-adjusted and needs no help in any way. If your child is shy or falls on the other end of the spectrum and needs help redirecting energies, this school is a complete failure. As is so often the case, problems like this arise from poor leadership. This leadership could not be more poor. Parents don't want to be involved because they just can't wait to get out of the school. The only redeeming factor is that the school is only a two year school.
