Excellent. The teachers are effective and caring and ALWAYS open to parent communication and doing all they can to assist students in the learning process. The teachers and staff are genuinely passionate about their jobs as educators.

This is a great school! It is small so the students are provided with many opportunities that are not available in larger schools. The faculty and staff are very compassionate and caring and provide students with individualized attention.

Teachers lack communication. Principal is a joke of an administrator and can't even seem to figure out his left hand from his right. Inappropriate language and conduct throughout, yet nothing is done about it, and if you're gonna have uniforms, too many students seem to not be wearing uniform.

Our son switched to this school for his 8th grade year and we had the best experience! All the families and teachers were welcoming (we are not Seventh Day Adventist) - it felt like being welcomed into a giant family. :-) They do a great job of incorporating a spiritual component. They also allow their teachers to innovate - the flipped classroom for high school algebra worked particularly well. We were painfully sad to move out of state this year and wish we could return to EAA for our child's high school years!!

Both of my kids attend EAA. They are doing very well there. One of my kids has a learning disability and he is doing great. The teachers are very patient and understanding. The High school is pretty good as well. I was a bit nervous with a new Administrator, but he has been great. I think EAA is going thru some changes. But I think all the changes are for the best of the students and staff. I would highly recommend any student to attend. Dispite some of the other reviews there is a no tolerance for Bulling. I have personally witnessed it. If you would a great safe christian environment give EAA a try. you will not be disappointed.

Great school. Good People. Principal who is a good guy and fun person to talk to. He connects well with the students. I highly suggest sending your children here for a genuine christian education. Some of the teachers could work a bit more on communication but nobodies perfect.

There are great teachers and not so great teachers. There is a lack of communication between the teachers and the parents. The staff is doing nothing about adding in new students to the school. The principal is unapproachable and intimidating.

I attended EAA all four years of highschool. I loved every minute of it. I made lifelong friends there that I still have in my life today. My teachers were great, and many of them have kept in contact with me over the years as well. It has a great community of families surrounding it. I recommend this school if you live in the north county.

This rating is particularly for elementary school --where there are great teachers and mediocre teachers. The school doesnt seem to hold its teachers accountable. There is no standardized curriculum--and we had a very bad experience. Most elementary school teachers are stuck with two combined grades with many different levels. My number one issue was that there are no Gate certified teachers who can deal with gifted kids. It is 50- 50 --you can get a good teacher or not a good one --depends on your luck. It took us 6 months to get the teacher to have our child take an AR test. It took 8 months in school before they started teaching math. All in all, very disappointing training delivery

My daughter was a student for five years. She started in first grade. We pulled her out midway through her fifth grade year. Although I do think the academics are challenging, I have a problem with the teachers and the principal. In addition, the Christian aspect was lacking as well. For example, Easter break occurred nowhere near Easter. Isn't this a Christian school? Furthermore, my daughter was bullied by one child in particular. My husband and I were in & out of the principal's office during the entire five years, at least once a month. However, nothing got resolved. Therefore the school's "no tolerance" policy for bullying is in fact a "high tolerance" for bullying. Moreover, we did not receive one encouraging or supporting note, letter, email from any of her three teachers or principal. What's more is that many of the students are "stuck up" and have a "holier than thou" attitude. That's not how I want to raise my daughter. This school is a WASTE of money! Invest your tuition fees in another school that actually cares for your child.
