Rogue Superintendent & School board treats parents like the bottom of the barrel. Conditioning students to live in a state of fear and prioritizing national, political agendas over local needs and wants of residents

Although we do not like the Competency Based Grading system for our own children, we have seen it’s successes with other families. Overall, the staff here encourage learning and support their students.

I was lucky and was not apart of competency based grading until my senior year. However, I would say that it is not hard to excel at this school. The classes are fairly easy to pass with minimal studying. There are no midterms or final exams. If I had not taken an AP class as well as a running-start class I don't believe I would be prepared for college. However, these classes are not obligatory. I should not have to take more advanced classes in order to feel ready for college, the normal courses should be rigorous enough to do this. Even though the academic part of this school was horrifying, the teachers themselves were overall very good. Most of them were very nice people and wanted their students to succeed. I believe that the reason the courses aren't more rigorous is due to the school not demanding it. The teachers are capable of creating challenging courses that prepare students for college; however there is not a demand. The atmosphere is great between the teachers and students. The issue is the administration. They fail to demand a more challenging school environment and they fail to listen to the community. The superintendent Valerie McKinney is only looking to further her political career rather than enrich the lives of students. I believe that many of the teachers would preform much better if she left the district. Epping is a mess and I am very happy that I graduated before it went further downhill.

Terrible. Free speech is a constitutional right and we all need to learn that it is ok to have opinions even if we may disagree with them. This a key trait children near to learn and your school is discouraging that which is concerning and disheartening.

Garbage school. Teachers are usually late to classes, on their laptops during class and a few have shady pasts. I went here for all 4 years and graduated with high honors but only because I had to survive this dump. Don't send your child here unless you hate them

This school restricts free speech. For Americas day a student was told to remove a Make America Great Again T-shirt

Epping school district does have some ups and downs but any child can succeed wherever they shall put the most of effort. I do believe Epping is a smaller school in which they offer less but it's only what you make it. Help Epping become a better place instead of judging it.

Epping is indeed very small and its options are limited due to its size, but the teachers are wonderful and fantastic. They put in countless amounts of extra hours to help the students and provide lessons plans that really enrich the students minds. The school may have little to work with, but any bad reviews claiming anything other than a lack of resources is effecting the school are simply false. I have noticed that students not only get from this school what they put into it, but even a little extra thanks to the fantastic staff. The teachers work tirelessly to help the students, yet many refuse to succeed. It angers me to see such hateful reviews when I know that the school does not deserve this. Epping is a great community and has a wonderful high school with less than satisfactory student effort and involvement.

I hate everything about this school. My teachers had had no clue how the grading system worked when they switched it this year and they had to switch it again in the middle of the year because they weren't sure on all of the rules. This made it extremely confusing for everybody and it is clear that they don't know what they are doing. I had to constantly stay after and ask questions about how I was being graded and most of my teachers couldn't answer. I struggled all year with it along with my classmates who were also struggling with it and next I don't think it will be any better. Stay far away from this school because it really does suck

This school needs a lot of work. The teachers try to do their best, but don't treat the situation with a real attitude, I want to say. It's almost like they treat the school like it's an inner city school when really, this is EPPING. They don't trust us to be adults, and don't give us the chance to be adults so people don't try. There is barely any freedom in the curriculum until you're in your last two years of school, and they stick the underacheivers who don't WANT to learn with the overacheivers who get bogged down by said underachievers, instead of seperating the classes by levels of advancement. The teachers try their best and the administration doesn't listen. Lots of promise, bad communication.
