Westmark is an incredible school that has changed our child's life. We went from fights over homework, refusing to read (because it was so hard for them), and hating school to thriving from drop off to pick up. Each day starts with 90 minutes of reading - which when you first hear that you think "there is no way my kid will do that." Well they do! Our child has ADHD and dyslexia and is reading AT grade level when they couldn't even read sight words when they started at the school. The teachers are patient and creative in how to motivate the students, and Ms. Koochek is unparalleled in her commitment to these kids and the school. If you are tired of other schools simply failing to live up to your child's needs, you should definitely check out Westmark. It really may be exactly what you don't realize your child needs.

This school has been such a blessing for both of my kids! (they have been there for 2 and 4 years now.) They love going to school now and are even taking advanced math and science (above their grade level.) it has completley turned around their attitudes about school and they couldn't be more excited to be there. The teacher, staff, and parents are a wonderful community. they know each child individually and realy help them with social issues, organization, and learning. My 9th grade daughter now writes like she is in college and my son who struggled with reading is reading at or above grade level! If your children are dyslexic or disgraphic, this is the place to go!

What an amazing school. Our son has severe dyslexia and always hated school. But at Westmark he loves going to school. The teachers are so caring and supportive and the kids are great! Lots of sports to choose from. Love this school. What a relief to see your kid so happy!

We are three years in and the excellence of teachers and curriculum continues to impress and relieve us. Unfortunately, I think we are stuck here because I have not found a school that compares in any other city.

Westmark has helped my son the past two years in ways the public school could not. He has more confidence, he can read without crying, in public school he was called lazy by a first grade teacher at LAUSD in North Hollywood. He was tested to be very dyslextic. We have more to work on, but I shudder to think of how dropped out and discouraged he would have been had I not enrolled him in this school. Not strong with athletics..but that is not what we came for. Thank you Westmark, Thank you Mrs. Graham.

My son went to this school and he absolutely hated it. The teachers were very unsupportive of him and they would laugh at him. Please do not send your kids here and I can not stress this enough
