The principal, Larry Parks, answers emails from people very snarkily. I emaied him asking for a virtual tour and he refused to send photos because he did not know me. I do not recommend this school.

I love going to Emmett High School. I have had excellent teachers who not only take very effective methods to teaching, but who genuinely care about their students. I would recommend this school based solely off of how wonderful the teachers are. Besides that, we also have a very supportive, kind, and accepting student body. Although Emmett High School could use a new building, it is a very good school and I am thankful for my education there.

Forces us to go to school in terrible weather, spoiled milk for breakfast, terrible schedule organization, this school is absolutely terrible.

I go to Emmett High School and I am a member of the class of 2016. I have to say that I am not impressed. A lot of the teachers do pick favorites and I have noticed that being different here makes you a target. I think that just because i dont wear the most expensive stuff or am not a member of the popular crowd i should get the same treatment as the kids who do. Especially in the physical education department, especially the girls teacher, she is cold hearted unless you are beyond athletic. If you cant run fast or catch well youre screwed and thats not right. Just because some girls arent the most athletic doesnt mean the teacher should drive them so hard. It also is very wrong that they give special treatment and funds to sports but when it comes to band they just dont care. It would be nice to be more appreciated. Also we have a serious lack of musical instruments. Instead of getting brand new softball junk thikn about how kids are interested in music just as much as some people are in sports. Its not right we arent given the same oppurtunities. So my conclusion is, if you are well dressed and athletic you will do fine here. Most of the teachers are pretty great though..........

Emmet High School failed to provide a safe learning environment for my daughter. The Principle is a horrible example of leadership and picks favorites among the Students. The Principal should be a fair impartial leader. The teachers care and want the best for the kids. I feel that the moral and unity of the kids is a direct reflection on the Principal. He does not take the Moral, Safety, or Health of his students or staff seriously. In my dealings with him it has been all about self not selflessness.
