My oldest child attended Mountain View grades K, 2-4. Never really had any major issues, but now that my youngest is in 3rd grade... The only issue I had was with her 2nd grade teacher. She was only her 2nd year teaching & she had no children of her own.. She kept complaining because my child wouldnt pay attention in class, but she never communicated with us via phone or email or set up a parent/teacher meeting. We just saw the comments on her report card. After her remedial class & after school tutoring, her grade continued to decline, so I had a meeting with the couselor & 2 of her teachers. The counselor suggest I have tested for ADD, my thought was how about getting a teacher who actually teaches & talks to the children instead of sitting in a corner texting &/or fixing her make up! (as per another student)

I am a grandparent. We have had two grandchildren at Mountain View over the last eight years. As a retired teacher and administrator from Georgia, I can say that I would prefer to have my children at Mountain View over any school where I have been personally and professionally. The entire staff is professional and empathetic with students and learning is a major focus. I appreciate also the fact that traditional values and customs remain there.

I have 2 children at Mountain View and love the school and the activities that they offer and activities that the classes involve! The teachers (for the most part, you always have 1 or 2..) are very supportive and understanding!

My sons teacher last year was not very friendly mrs. Kiser. She never communicated good with the parents and she is very rude I would see her out in public and she would just walk by with her nose stuck up in the air and not say a word or even wave at us. Very disappointed with his teacher last year 3rd grade hope he has A better one this year.

LOVE Mountain View! Wonderful, caring teachers, great support staff and administration! Challenge/Gifted Program is lacking, but other than that it is an awesome school!
