Honestly a very fair school. The teachers here are great the and the guidance counselors are very reliable. They make sure everyone gets a chance here and there is no room for failure at John E Dwyer Technology Academy

This school definitely deserves to be known as one of the worst schools. Many of the teachers do not deserve to be teachers, a lot of them are forgetful and half of them don't really care about their students. They forget to put in grades and when you remind them, they'll tell you that either you just didn't do it, or they lost the paper. Another thing is the environment. There's so many bugs and mice around the school, especially in the kitchen and constantly in the halls roaming around, and the janitors don't really do anything about them. There's also an uprise in the amount of violence in this building. Dwyer constantly has fights and many kids with violent tendencies. I thought the annex was bad, but the main building is SO MUCH worse. The current principal, Ms. Jimenez, along with the rest of the adults in there, do not know how to run a school. They're constantly complaining about how the students are running amok in there, but in reality, they're the ones in charge, they just could care less. The security guards don't seem to do much either, they'll just usually stand around chatting with the other kids or just sitting around. Do not send your kids here, the people here, especially the adults, are terrible when it comes to running a school.- Dwyer Student
