I moved from EPISD and it is night and day difference. The principal here is just amazing. As well as the assistant principal. I am blessed to have moved my child here and see him getting the support he needs with his disability. This school really cares about it's students and really want them to succeed and be the best human being possible.

Horrible experience. If you are not Hispanic DO NOT ENROLL your child in this school. My son was teased and picked on nonstop because he was white with yellow hair. Numerous trips to the school to get issues resolved was met with nothing. Most of the staff is unprofessional. Just avoid this school.. Only positive was that once I fought to get my child on an IEP he did get the one on one help he needed, however it was too late in the year which caused him to be behind. Just avoid this school.

This school is truly horrid! What a shame that their are wonderful teachers like Mrs. L. Garcia and Mrs. Galindo who get over shadowed by gossipy teachers and an incompetent principal (Gonzalez).Bullying is a major problem at Hilley, especially when Gonzalez chooses to ignore the children being harassed and does not hold the aggressors accountable. However, what Gonzalez seems to applaud is the gang -like behavior of some of the school's volunteers. It would be great to see the focus being put back on what really matters, our children and their education.

This school has gone downhill. Most teachers are there to socialize and pick up a pay check. A lot of bullying going on and the kid being bullied is the one that gets reprimanded for defending themselves. Mrs. Gonzales has no control and theres a lot of favoritism. Have contacted superintendant about the school, but nothing has been done. A couple of the good teachers at that school are Mrs. Galindo, Mrs. Soto, Mrs. Herrera and a couple more whose names i dont remenber.
