My school is k but we as parents should not blame the teachers or the principal for everything our children do we need to put our part and help to we may think our kids are perfect cause we send them to a school day care but we need to pay attention and make them do some kind of school work when they dont get homework there is no reason for parents to b negative when they no they can visit the class room to babysit yes i have a prek, 1, and 4 and if they dont want to do work well is there future cleaning toilets there is so much we can do we already did our part attending school no they r the future u will b getting some kind of negative at school any were u go if is private or not as for parents we do act lik kids we dont respect when people r talking, no body gives time to volunteer or show up for school meeting w/ guess speakers

I am no where impressed with this particular school. My child sat in the class for 3 weeks and did not turn a single item of work and the teacher did not address it with the student or notified the parents. When I found out I thre a hizzy fit at the school and they were more about defending the teacher instead of addressing what was going on in the class. The teacher after being reported to the vice pricipal and pricipal "played catch up" to pass my child after he had 30's and 40's in her class to cover herself. All I kept on being told is "Did you check the parent portal", time and time again... The parent portal does not justify the reason for a child to be let to sit in her class and not do a thing. We are commiting a disservice to our kids if they are not getting an education.

Questionable ethics practice from the school Principal and counselor when addressing the parents. Dowell Elementary school Principal and counselour treats the parents as inferior individuals. This is a sign of an unprofessional preformed opinion, usually an unfavorable one, based on insufficient knowledge, and irrational feelings. I agree with the may post.
