It takes a village to raise a child and we have found our village! Nativity’s reputation is well known throughout the Los Angeles Archdiocese. When it came time to choose a school for our son, Nativity was the clear choice for us especially after seeing two nieces graduate from here. One is currently attending St. Lucy’s High School and the other is attending Cal State Fullerton. This, along with Nativity’s faith based culture and emphasis on academia, solidified our decision. Our son started out in Nativity’s TK3 program and is now in 2nd grade. A firm foundation set in fairness, respect, caring, trustworthiness, responsibility, and citizenship which Nativity instills in its students, is a foundation for success. It has been a beautiful journey seeing our son and Nativity grow side by side. College bound, heaven bound in God's grace!

I had a really bad experience with this school after sending my child there for 7 years. No one ever tried contacting me even after I called and left messages and we also emailed. It was very disappointing.

Nativity has been our second home. It didn’t only teach my kids in all aspects, Nativity also made my family closer to God, and for that we are forever thankful.

This school is wonderful. The teachers and staff truly care about the students and know each and every one of them by name. My niece Arianna Bella L. is thriving and we could not be happier with our choice in schools. This school has been a blessing to our family! We love Nativity School! My daughter started out in their TK program at age 3 and she is going to be in the 1st grade in the Fall! She is already reading, writing and doing math that I did when I was in the 2nd grade. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and you can tell that they really care about the children. I also like that the principal REALLY knows the children. I have seen her interact with the children on many levels such as, academic and play. I would definitely recommend this school.

Nativity School is an outstanding school starting from the principal to the maintenance people. The schools curriculum and teaching methods are outstanding and the teachers are all well educated. If you are looking for a school for your child, look no further, Nativity will thoroughly impress you in all aspects. I speak from experience having had my child in another local catholic school.

All schools have the potential to offer an outstanding education and prepare their students to enter prestigious universities and finishing a great career! Nativity Catholic school gives them their shape in their catholic faith the growth in their values and academic program that will carry them throughout their lives in making good decisions for themselves for their families and for the community. Nativity Catholic School in El Monte is a great school. I like how the schools classrooms all have e-beam white boards that the students can interact with using a light pen and I also like how the students have access to ipads that they can utilize to help them with their class work as well as their homework. Nativity also has one week of school for "Electives" classes that are different then what the students do doing the regular school year. I know that the students, including my children, get excited when this week comes along. The principal and the staff are pretty darn good too. Not only that but the parents of the students are very supportive of the school. Some parents still come back and help out even though their children have graduated from Nativity already. My children have been going to Nativity over six years now.

Nativity has a capable, administrator and staff, above average academic curriculum, relevant technology options, consistent discipline and character formation programs, and supportive parents. The students feel safe, affirmed, and loved. I really like Nativity's mission: We are committed to helping one another become the person God intended us to be. I feel this mission is lived out on campus and beyond. Although I feel Nativity is "above average" there are a couple of areas of growth. I do not believe these suggestions reduce the school's overall success. Rather I think they may refine established strengths. -AR advocates and critiques abound. How can Nativity use its reading program to boost recreational reading among students and family members? -Technology is a priority at Nativity. How can readily available internet access increase the implementation of technology in the classroom and at home.

I am a proud teacher at Nativity Catholic School and feel honored to serve the community of El Monte. As a member of the staff I can say that Nativity is a great environment to teach in and I am privileged to work for a fantastic principal who puts the students' needs first and has worked hard to make the school great! She has worked to get technology into the classrooms, worked to receive new programs to improve literacy, and is constantly looking for the best options available. Our staff is constantly learning to provide our students with the best education possible. We work well together and that affects student learning for the positive. We have wonderful programs that help mold our students to be empowered, active, and faithful. In addition to wonderful students we have been blessed with fantastic parents who understand the importance of a quality Catholic education and the need for their support. The parents and community are always willing and able to help when and where they are needed. I am truly blessed to be a part of all the great things that are happening at Nativity Catholic School.

I love working at Nativity School with the many qualified and committed teachers and staff. A true "family" atmosphere exists where students, parents, faculty and staff truly care about the well-being of one another. Students are challenged to live our mission statement and "become the person God intended them to be." The curriculum is challenging and students who need extra help, due to learning difference/disabilities, receive the help they need to succeed.

Nativity Catholic School is the best kept secret in town! If you want your child to be challenged academically, receive and understand not only a catholic religion, but also character building values, and be capable of interjecting these three components in his/her everyday life, then this should be your school of choice. I ve been with Nativity for seven years and plan to be here until my youngest graduates from 8th grade. Through these seven years with Nativity I learned that the tuition payment we make is really a small portion of the true cost of a private education. I learned that Nativity is a not-for-profit organization, which means that the money it collects goes back to the school, its students, and to pay bills, and not to enrich the pockets of a few. I learned also that Nativity relies heavily on grants, sponsorship of our community, and parent donations to keep its doors open and make tuition affordable to many.

My children have been at Nativity since my first started Kinder in 2000 and I have never had to complain once.. I feel this school set the basline for my kids and most of all taught them the skills and education they needed to suceed in a private high school. It"s up to the parents to help guide and yes push a little to get them over any obstacles they have to overcome. It prepped my son for English and Math for high school in which he is now in honors classes thanks to Nativity, If there are any negative concerns they need to be addressed ASAP either with the teachers or staff so as to get the student on the right track again.Money issues YES it does cost and yes Catholic schools need as much funds as possible to help keep up with curriculum adv. studies as well upkeep
