"It wasn't fair how my friend got jumped and received a 5-day suspension, while the other person involved got a 4-day suspension. It seems like the teachers are making decisions based on race. The 6th-grade counselor is awesome, but the principal is not so great."

I went there and I wasn’t a fan of anything. 602 Literacy Teacher is a joke.

its a nice school but put some of the principles i'm not the best I'm not gonna say names but they will get you in trouble for the smallest reason even if you didn't do anything. And they deal with bullying really well except for some days. like for this one day there is this one girl that was talking about song she doesn't like colored or Black people you're weird and stuff and we're the principal heard about it she was suspended she didn't have to go under any punishment she didn't say sorry the principal was the one who apologized for her.

I really did like this school. It had pretty good teachers and most of the staff were friendly. Only problem I had was bullying because I was bullied my first year there but the principal took care of the problem. If I am being honest, the seventh grade teachers were better out of all teachers in the school, because they were more chill and not on edge when it came to doing homework and asking questions. Tests were always about what we learned, and sometimes they let us do open note quizzes. They had very fun activities and their way of teaching was very easy to understand. This school overall was the best school I’ve ever been to.

We have had a great experience at Summit, teachers, administrators and overall staff are professional very supportive. Every student is supported in the areas they need including emotional support. The school implemented a new program this year where students interact with each other, they have sessions with different activities they can pick in advance. My daughter is enjoying it. Cell phones are banned during school time but they have access to them. There are 3 counselors, one for each grade. Another thing implemented this year is the security id school badges, students have to wear them at all times and they need them to open main doors at school.

One teacher in general is always targeting certain people making them out to be the bad person when she never says anything about it before.

This is a great school with many wonderful programs such as Band and Vocal Music that allow students to be involved as well as be in an environment to learn and grow. Great teachers and leadership to encourage kids to make it through challenging middle school years! We have really liked this school and even moved to get our second child into this one.

Amazing school in a great area. Very happy my daughter was able to attend Summit all three years. Many extra curricular activities to chose from, many class options to challenge her, and overall the other students were great kids.

Summit-teachers and staff play what ever game they need to-if you fit in there little click and come from certain families that they know have money in this area of Edmond-you will be very happy there/they are going to do whatever they have to to make there job easy-even tell your child they love them and give them cheap gifts and try and tell the child that they want a good repour with them-the teacher should never give a child a gift of any kind for any reason unless the parent knows and agrees-and then tell them it is something someone else did not want-no teacher should tell a child for any reason that they love them-it makes my child feel very uncomfortable and my child says herself that it is just a way of trying to get the kid to think that they can trust them-the school and staff have an agenda-I understand that they are trying to be there for kids that are being abused-but that is the wrong way to go about it-some kids see through it and don't have trust in them even more! I tell my child that she has the right to say no to any gift and to tell them that it makes them fell uncomfortable when they say they love them-it is a game to build false trust-
