My five children were 'large university' prepared. We live in the area for the strong community and schools. Excellent decision to raise my kids here. Great staff Great community! Good job Dodge!

While attending this school, I believed it to be ok, average, just how school is. Since graduating, I’ve come to realize that “ok” is about the best thing I could say about this school (district). And I don’t really think “ok” is good enough. The entire county is kind of stuck in time. I can’t speak to the actual funding, but there’s A LOT to be desired with this school. One improvement would be learning opportunities in general: more foreign language options, more elective class options, more art classes, more focus on actual education rather than sports, etc…I’m over 20 years graduated and I still find myself surprised from time to time when other folks mention things from their high school experience and I realize how limited mine was. I’m disappointed in my experience and time there. I don’t feel like I would be where I am today if I hadn’t had a teacher as a parent/in the home, bc there was definitely lacking in Dodge County schools. But, if you’ve ever been to Dodge, you have probably felt the vibe. Not super surprising to be a bit lacking or lagging behind in education when there’s that “no one moves in and no one moves out” mentality. Truly, stuck in time.

The worst education experience I've had. People don't know how to read. The school is extremely poor. Furthermore, the textbooks are outdated and the testing scores are what makes Georgia 48th in the U.S. for scores. The teachers aren't getting paid. or if they are, it's below minimum wage. This school is awful, deserves around 3 out of 10. This school is far behind the curriculum and it's not uncommon to have weeks on end with nothing to do. I'm not raging, I'm being completely sincere. Best look for a better place.
