my school is duff elemt.,this school is average in my opinion,if your child has difficulty learning but is capable,this school is not for u.this school does not take the time to work with kids that is adhd,add,etc.they instead hold them back a year aand hope the child picks up the following year instead of spending a little more time w/ the kid that just needs something explained diferently or helped a additional min. or so. i am a parent of a child that was held back in k-g of all grades ,but he/she had all excepional progress reports ,but failed him for the reason of (child is not reading fast enough-but every progress report was excepional,keep in mind ,my child was held bck w/ at least 20 to 30 k-g'ers . not sure of exact # ,but is known fact that was later blamed on prior teacher that was let go there and later moved to another school in same distact. in these facts,why should stundents be held bck when it was a teacher that caused this and why nwas the teacher hired bck by the same board o. ed. if inadaqeut to teach.

under no reason should an employee harass a student there are two type classifications for floyd county school board employees certified and classified certified being teachers principal etc..classified being cooks bus drivers custodians I worked for the school board I know the RULES! no bus driver has the right to jump a student over not showing up for school when his father is on life support and their turning it off the next day, and to do it in front of a bus load of kids plus a fatally sick child "my daughter" whom can not attend school over her illness is immoral unethicalk and down right awful Mr Martin who drives bus number 409 did this today and I DEMAND ACTION TAKEN AGAINST HIM even if he is a teacher subbing as a bus driver when hes on that bus hes classified this will not end HERE I PROMISE YOU THAT!
