It was a great school that builds you for the high school. It's smaller so you know everyone. I also allows your kids to make the team and not get cut like other middle schools.

The worst school I could have ever sent my children to.

They do nothing to improve the educational system there. They have an art teacher who only likes to yell at them. They never bring home any real art projects. I think they work on the same thing all year. They had a wonderful music teacher, but she had to leave. Now they have a teacher who takes the fun out of music. How is that possible? My child had a broken computer for computer class all year and was told Oh well just sit there then. The teacher lost my child's work and then told them they will just count them absent. When my child went to argue they were told to stop back talking. I had to go to her 3 times for this and she said oops she missed placed the work. I had to keep on her to even find it. My child is a straight A student who loved to go to school before we went here. All of a sudden the teacher is trying to say she is has F in her favorite subject at midterm. I knew if I said nothing she would stay an F or if I kept on the teacher she would be back up to an A and she magically helped improve her progress. It wasn't even anything she had issues in. The parents do get involved at the school which is really nice, but it seems to only be for extra curricular activities. They really need to work on improving the 6 great school gives them and improve the education so our children are ready for high school and college. They need to get good teachers in there who care about our children and their futures. Who monitor the recess and how our kids are treating each other. They need to promote kindness and help them to grow into young adults who are sure of themselves and know how to deal with conflict. They need to encourage a love of learning and how to deal with things in a positive way. They need a principal who shows they really care about our children and their education. All Iv'e seen her do is thank the PTO. I am a very hands on parent and work every day with my children to see the good in people and to have a love for learning. If they are having issues, I am proactive to finding a way for them to get it. I'm doing my part and I expect when I entrust my children to teachers during the day they protect, treat them with respect and make their education top priority as I do. They are small classes and there is no excuse.
