Awful school. They crossed the line where my parental rights were concerned. Their district did the same. They should be ashamed of themselves, but they're not, that's the problem.

I think parents sometimes expect too much from a school and act more like passive receivers. My daughter going into 3rd grade has been excited about school, her teachers, what she's learning and all the new friends she's made every day since she's been there. I understand this might not be everyone's experience however any kind of issue she's had, emotional or educational, the school has stepped in and offered support. Whenever i had a questions about something she was learning or needed feedback, the teachers were quick to respond. They work with the parents and i do not hold their young age against them, honestly I don't care how old or new they are- as long as they communicate and are passionate about their job. It's a school, nothing in perfect and coming from a truly poor school district I know the difference between a bad school and a good school. This school does not deserve a 2 rating. It is diverse, and you cannot help wealth being in your district- that's life- teach your children about different families based on race, wealth, disability, and gender and they will excel.

There is nothing special about this school district. It's highly overrated for no reason at all. It's also not very diverse and classist/elitist. Focus is on material wealth instead of developing better quality humans with integrity and a solid character. The teachers are clueless and some are downright nasty. Would not recommend this school district.

Nice building but the school itself is awful. The teachers are new and do not know anything about teaching. They especially do not have enough hands on experience with younger children. The quality of teachers is very low they are horrible at their jobs they do not teach at all.

My two kids goes to this school and their academic levels are good and improving. Their interest in school is same when we enrolled them initially and their problem solving and social skills are getting better. Teachers are co-operative and understands each students' difficulties and help them to improvise.

Well it's okay. Great schools are not just about parents of wealthy kids hiring tutors which is what Central is about. The parents make the school, for sure not the weak teachers.
