I have had 4 children in Hunt Meadows over the past few years, and it has been a fantastic experience. Every teacher and staff member has been supportive and encouraging. My children needing extra assistance in reading or math were given the attention necessary to help themprogress. When my children would make a poor decision behaviorally, the vice-principal was quick to address the behavior, give appropriate consequences, affirm the child of their value and worth, and keep me informed. I highly recommend Hunt Meadows!

Have multiple children who attended or currently attend this school and I could not be more satisfied. Hunt Meadows is the best and I am so thankful they serve the students in this wonderful community. The teachers and staff provide a warm family-like environment and they care so much about every aspect of the students' wellbeing. They put so much time and energy and love into everything they do. I feel like my children are being given a great foundation and will be set up for success later in life due to the exceptional education and learning environment they've received at the elementary level.

I am a parent for a special needs child. Im extremely disappointed in the way the teachers refused to work with my sons tutor that was in place to help him with their assignments. They refused to inform me on what materials they were working on. The only things I was informed on was a test which my child failed. I asked them how many times was my child exposed to the material they refused to answer my questions. That was at the beginning of the school year of 2023 in October. These teachers need to be held accountable for not doing their job in progressing the child. They refused to send worksheets to the tutor and progress reports so the tutor would be able to help with my childs progress. They sent out a weakness vs strength worksheet for me to fill out and I filled out because of the lack of communication and lack of effort I have no clue on what my childs strengths vs weakness. They sent out report cards with no grades this year. Thats a standard protocol that schools need to be sending to parents in order to see where the strengths and weaknesses are. Extremely disappointed in the unprofessional teachers and staff they have working at this facility. They did send me only 1 mathematical sheet for regrouping did not send it to jus tutor for him to learn all year long that was just recent they sent me. It is now 30 days until summer. My child is significantly behind due to the lack of effort and care for a special needs child. I do not recommend this school for any special needs student. They dont care!

I have had two children go through Hunt Meadows. Both Very Smart. My oldest was glorified for her wit and intelligence, my younger child, a straight A, Highest Test Score, IQ at Mensa Level, has has a really rough ride. This is a clique of parents, teachers and principal. The Principal to start, has no backbone with her teachers. Recently the 4th Grade History Teacher was given an award as Being one of the best history teachers in the area. Yet, my children come home and ask me questions like "Why does our President not have an American Birth Certificate" Glenn Beck is teaching History. Parents are Very Involved which is great. Many teachers are exceptional..especially Roarke and Godwin.

All I can start with is my overwhelming disappointment in this school. Children with special needs are left in the dust because the staffing does not in anyway know how to deal their needs. The staff shuns and treats them as outcasts because of these same disabilities. The principle is negligent in dealing with situations when they arise and always side with teacher even when the teacher is very clearly at fault. The school district is also terrible as they have no interest about the concerns of the parents. If I could turn back time I would have sent my children to this school as they are now dealing with self esteem problems because of the way they were treated. If you are able to send your children to another school especially if they are special needs.

My grandchildren go here and we love this school! The teachers know the children because it is small enough to get to know them. They even know me when i come there. It is well taken care of and the children have lots of encouragement. I have helped out on different events . Most of all the parents like the school and teachers. A very helpful and caring staff!

This is a great school with a wonderful staff and led by a wonderful principal. The school staff is very friendly, the school is quite clean and the custodians take great pride in their work. The teachers are very motivated and excited to teach and it reflects back on the students. The school also has a very active PTO with volunteers that do a great job at making sure all of the needs of the school are met. They don't do your typical fundraisers by making you sell junk you don't need, yet they always come up with fun and exciting ways to raise money and I'm happy to support them because all of their hard work can be seen on the playground, the technology support they give, and the classroom assistance. I'm a proud and happy family member of Hunt Meadows.
