I am a retired teacher of 33 years. My grandson is in first grade and has attended since Pre K. My daughter and I have been so happy with his whole school experience. His teachers have been wonderful from the start. They have showed him he is important to them. They keep us involved and informed about his progress. He loves them and is happy going to school. They do wonderful, exciting extra activities with the kids. They have a SRO there at all times which is such a reassurance. The whole atmosphere when you enter is calm and welcoming. I’m very glad my grandson is at this wonderful school. I know he’s happy, cared for and learning.

This school works hard to engage the kids in everything they need to learn. The teachers are so kind and it definitely feels like a family. I was hesitant when we moved here for my granddaughter’s to be in their district but they are thriving and love this school. It truly has been a blessing. They come out everyday excited with stories to tell about their day. They love all the staff but especially Mr. Wilson the principal who meets everyone every morning in the car pool line with a smile and hug. Good job Midway.

I gave this school a low rating due to having a special needs child in which they refused to provide a proper education to, until her doctors became involved. Another issue was a situation that included my k- child left unattended for over 20 min. alone.
