This school is not a great school at all. It maybe better than it used to be but they are still far, far, far away from being a great school. Bullying is not handled well at all it is just brusted off under the rug and even blamed on the victim of bullying if they react. Kids that bully your child can even throw rocks at your child and you will not even hear about it from anyone expect from your child. However, again how dare your child react even if it is simply yelling stop. By this school standards any chold who reacts to being bullied is just as guilty as the bullies. Instesd of doing anything about it lke maybe, just MAYBE, inform the parents and protect the kids better by sperating them. Moving the bully from the class. NOT punishing the vitim of rhe bullying and making them feel tjey are the ones doing wrong by moving them instead of the bully.. If your kid has anything Neurologically wrong with them don't send them here instead of helping they will just keep telling you your child just isn't trying to produce work. Then stone wall you all school year unless you get an advocate and/or lawyer involved. It shouldn't have to be that way. It should be a team effort to help all children, but those who NEED extra help it feels like a battle instead of a team effort. I wish it wasn't this way but it is, and they have a long, LONG, ways to go before being a "great school". I regret sending my child there and we are looking into other schools and even maybe moving sooner than later to help better avoid the school completely with my other younger child as well.

Dunedin Elementary School is a great school. All of our experiences with students and staff have been great. The only reason I gave it a four and not a five is because I disagree with the Common Core standards for learning that are in place at Florida Public Schools. For financial reasons my son could not stay at the private school he was at last school year, but he is every bit as happy, if not more so at DES. Dunedin Elementary has nice kids, caring teachers, and a positive environment.

Dunedin Elementary is a safe and happy place for students. The new principal has done an amazing job at making the school a positive place to be. The teachers are high quality and my son has made tremendous learning gains. Dunedin Elementary has a Dual Language Program (English/Spanish) that is rigorous and has transformed students into fantastic speakers, readers, and writers in both languages. The Dunedin ES school community is very supportive and families are truly committed to the education of their children. I truly recommend this school to any family!!!

My school is Dunedin Elementary School and I love it there. The teachers are the best around. They go above and beyond to help their students. I wouldn't change schools for anything.

My granddaughter will surely miss the excellent teachers, staff, and friends at Dunedin Elementary School. Mr. Peterson, the great bucket drumming teacher, is the VERY best. Hope all have had a great summer. Diana, Sierra, Stacey
