Definitely not the school if you’re looking for any type of diversity. My kids are part of the .4% African American and when I told them as they entered into kindergarten that they would have to work harder to prove themselves because they looked different I wasn’t prepared for them to actually have to like they did in this day and age. Sports is a joke we don’t play to win we play to please parents and for the politics. Oh and the last black athlete to shine at this school was back in the late 80s when I was in high school that should speak for itself. This will be a life long regret of mine sending mine here especially being in the .4%.

My children attend this school and I am a graduate myself. I could not be more pleased with how my children are taught. Especially the High School. I feel your freshman year either makes or breaks you, and those Freshman teachers go above and beyond to help those kids transition to high school. Kudos to everyone involved in the Freshman Academy. And a special shout out to Jenny Swingle and Jeremy Mull! Outstanding teachers...
