Any school that would continue to employ a teacher who told her students that their parents were not true Christians if they voted for Obama should be shut down until the administrators learn THE LAW.

I am a parent of twin children. One was enrolled at this school, the other at West Laurens Middle. Our son was here because they did everything they could to meet his needs as an Asperger's student with advanced/gifted education. The students and teachers respect each other, and the environment is conducive to learning. The school system has converted to a charter format which allows for greater flexibility. They also did a great job taking care of the very few bullying issues that arose (bullying is almost non-existent here). The school has changed its approach and things are way better than they were just a few years ago.

This is a great middle school with committed teachers, caring administrators, and strong academics. Best middle school in Middle Georgia!

The teachers here have potential, but this schools standards in cleanliness, education, and fairness are all unsatisfactory. Even the gifted courses aren't very challenging. Also bullying is very common and food quality is just plain awful. However, the athletic programs are excellent. Overall the school needs to improve drastically before i recommend it. Overall i give it a D+ or a 3 out of 10.
