    A.W.James has always been one of the best elementary schools in this area. Before Drew schools were taken over, it was the back bone in test scores for the district. I believe that our school will improve its test scores and stand among the rest. our test scores are not the best but the kids are receiving a very good education. They have a principal who is determined to give each student the education they so deserve. Her teaching staff and faculty have the students best interests at heart. I believe that our school is going to improve. Test scores do not show the true level of teaching and learning that is going on at our school.
