After the pandemic, students struggled to adapt to being in the classroom full time. While the teachers are excellent, there is many behavioral problems with students in the classroom and in the hallways. Bullying is almost a daily occurrence for some children. There are around 25-32 students in each classroom. This leads to less help from the teacher(s) giving the lesson.

It was a really good experience, but now I'm in Lake Forest DE so I rated the school lower than I would if I were in another school. But good school. I meet some good friends, but I'm in a high rated school now. It's one of the best schools in Delaware by education, extra-curriculum, and how it has a Junior Delaware Graduates (JDG) club that is required along with stuff like Technical Career Exploration. There is a lot of other stuff that is required at Lake Forest that doesn't even exist in the Capital School District. So I would rate just an average school you'll find on your walk somewhere.

This school is HORRIBLE!!! Teachers, students...ALL OF IT!! Bullying is an issue with my daughter. She has to worry about getting picked on everyday! I can't wait to get her OUT of there! We are MOVING to a better school district!!!!!!

CMS has a lot to offer the middle school student. There are programs that allow students to earn high school credits in math, foreign language, and related arts classes. They have a very supportive administration that are available any time that I call. They offer almost as many sports as a high school which allows my daughter to stay active and feel like a member of the school community.

Like this school isn't so bad this is my second year going, and I had fun last year. Like there is gonna be fights every school has there moments..... But like this school is good in all seriousness. If anything I was scared to go there, but after a few months its not that bad and the teachers are nice.

Central middle school is a horrible place to put a kid! The racism against caucasians is mind blowing and the whole black is better attitude is scary. It is obvious that the kids are running this school. The teachers do really try but spend most of the time trying to restore order to the classrooms. My childs grades have plummeted since going here. He is actually scared of going to school. Where is the authority in this place?
