As a student here, this school isn't the best when it comes to helping one, the work overload is a thing, students being left unmotivated, rude students, bulling, racism, etc. It'll be hard to make a friend here but you'll find one eventually, the teachers are alright except for some which I won't mention. The safety is fine, they are very strict too, the principal and staff will be nice except for one of them or you have bad relations along your way, I have that. It's a reason why I always avoid office as much as I can.

This school is a very friendly community as not only are the teachers nice, but even the students are too.

My daughter studied at this school for 6 months only. During this time she changed from a happy child to a sad little girl. This school systematically bullies underachiever children until they give up and leave school so it won’t affect their overall school score. The bully and mistreatment comes from the Vice principal, the teachers and are obviously copied by the children. They attack the children’s self confidence and shame them in the class when they are not following the rest of the class. We tried to communicate with the teachers and VP and was received by nothing but yelling and a terrible arrogant attitude repeatedly saying that they were a grade A school, which is not difficult when you understand their working ethics. It’s been a couple years now since my child left this school and now she is full of friends and has been on Honor Roll every year since then. Taking my daughter out if this School may have been the best decision I ever made.

Les hace falta estar mas a nivel academico a diferencia de otras escuelas. Y preocuparse mas por la parte social tambien. En marzo, abril y mayo mi hijo me dijo que habian hecho muy bien en clase y las maestras les iban a hacer una fiesta como incentivo. Y cuando me dijo que la fiesta era para que solo pudieran usar sus telefonos y llevarlos y que la maestra tambien solo estaba sentada usando su telefono en "la fiesta" donde pudieran aprovechar para socializar y tener ideas que los pusieran fuera de los electronicos. Y han sido hasta hoy 5 "fiestas" en horario de clase que han tenido en 2 meses y todas exactamente igual. No estoy en contra de los incentivos, al contrario, pero de esa manera, donde ni se hablan porque cada quien esta en su mundo al igual que los maestros????Mi hijo esta en 6to. fue el primer año y el ultimo que estara.Mucha diferencia del elementary al middle. Elementary buenisimo

Excelente escuela! Mi hijo se adapto de inmediato y los resultados a pesar de ser su primera vez en este pais, han sobrepasado mis expectativas.

Renaissance Charter School in Doral has been my school for the last 11 years. There is no other place I would rather have my kids attending. It is very close to a private school, with personalize service, great academics and a family environment. Safety and the well being of the children is one of the main goals for the Administration here.

Very happy with the faculty, and the academics. Smaller school with not so many electives but the teachers are so great and the fact that everyone knows each other outweights the smaller infrastructure. The right choice for my family.

My daughter and I have been extremely happy with this school. The teachers encourage the students to learn by fostering a positive environment. She has told me of the creating learning techniques and games they utilize in the class room. Administration has done a great job at making this a safe and fun school for our daughter to attend.

this school is not good i don't like it at all:(:(:( the class mates are very mean and the discipline is really low and not fair i don't like it and some teachers would also call me mean things like stupid like the other comment

Es una gran escuela no solo por su nivel acad mico sino por la parte humana. Es cuesti n de disciplina es ideal ya que son muy estrictos es temas que para los padres sin importantes. Mi hija est desde kinder y tanto ella como yo estamos totalmente contentas y satisfechas.

The school is very small, compared to other schools, but it's great. The staff and the school principal are very friendly and they knew EVERYONE'S names. The 8th grade teachers are the best ones because even though I wasn't in any advanced classes, I'm proud to say that my FCAT scores were outstanding, being that I achieved a 5 in Reading. MOST of the students are friendly. There aren't many elective choices, but the best ones are piano and chorus. I cried a lot at graduation because I would really miss the school and the people I grew up with. Great learning experience. Class of 2014!

My daughter was in Renaissance the last three years and we both love the school, and the staff is awesome. Very good school, very good teachers, and the principal is excellent!!

Best school ever! My kids have never been so pushed to work so hard. Though the elective choices are limited compared to doral academy, the teachers for each one are WAY better. Ms. Cid can make you a pro singer in one year and Ms. Jimenez proves to you that you can draw.

This is a great school, my daughter love her teachers. Mr. Thompson and the staff of this school is very nice. The children really learn in RMCS.

Good school though it is small the teachers are very dedicated, try to motivate students, to expend energy more classes, are always sending tasks make students take more interest in reading, the kind of music is excellent , hallways and cafeteria are safe because they have security in almost all areas, the assistant director (Mr.Thompson) super friendly, dedicated to school, attentive, friendly, like the vast majority of the staff at this school, my son already has 3 years attending, I recommend it 100%. Buena escuela a pesar de que es pequena los maestros son muy dedicados,tratan de motivar a los alumnos,que se esfuerzen mas en clases,siempre estan mandando tareas,hacen que los alumnos tomen mas interes en la lectura,la clase de musica es excelente,los pasillos y cafeteria son seguros ya que tiene seguridad en casi todas las areas,el subdirector (Mr.thompson) super amable,dedicado a la escuela,atento,agradable,al igual que la gran mayoria del personal de esta escuela,mi hijo ya tiene 3 anos asistiendo,la recomiendo 100%
