The school has been known for years a haven for bullying and with a do nothing administration. Along with that comes the nepotism in the district and that spills over to the high-school . If I could give 0 stars I would.

Bullying is rampant and the school and administration do nothing to curb it. My son had his head slammed into a desk in front of a teacher and the teacher didn't even say anything. It took contacting the school myself and demanding action for anything to be done. They didn't even move the offending boys seat from behind my son until I demanded it. My son is now homeschooling and is so much happier.

As a student in Regan middle school (which probably was the worst years of my life) I was bullied and called ugly, everyone around me were snobby stuck up people, no one liked me, I was picked last for pretty much everything, I've been harassed by other students as well, I have told the principal and the schools officer about it many times, but nothing was done in the end I ended up very depressed and not socialy active, I became homeschooled for a partial time and came back to each the next year, hoping that year would be better, I was very very wrong, again I was harassed sexually and ect. Girls from each would follow me, I was bullied even worse I was being bullied on the bus one day (which happened all the time) and the guys threw garbage at me, I had it, at this point I was not longer gonna be the victim, so with my adrenalin pumping and my anger bursting through the seems I took of my belt stood up walked over to them , whipped them and told them that they are all going to hell and the people that I didn't get where next, I walked off the bus like nothing happens as people stared in shock that I finally did something, the next day I got a suspension , which I believe isn't right if I tried to bring up the problem before , so I brought matter into my own hands, then I moved , I'm now at a new school and i love it I no longer feel depressed and I don't feel non-social , I have the greatest boyfriend I could ever asked for and I'm called pretty and beautiful every day.

Absolutely the worst school you could send your children to! My son was actually hit by a teacher! He was not being disrespectful or rude in anyway, the teacher was having trouble with the entire class and my son just happened to be the closest to her so he was the one she hit. I went to the principal and superintendent, the teacher admitted to it and the only action that was taken was to tell the teacher not to do it again. We are in the process of selling our house and moving out of the Dixon public district. Bullying is way out of hand also! Nothing is ever done about it. The teachers, principal, superintendent and school board have continually ignored all of the problems.

There is a huge bullying problem that goes on at Reagan Middle School but not too much is done about it.

I would give Reagan Middle School no stars. Heaven forbid a child makes a mistake when they first go to Reagan because it will never be forgotten or forgiven. The support staff needs to realize they are just that, they are not the teachers, principals or school board. The didtrict would do well saving some money getting rid of a few. (support staff: clerical, someone sitting in detention rooms (why don't teachers still do that?) etc.
