The community has been very supportive by passing bonds and finding funding for a great number of facility improvements in the last eight years. The principal is stellar; she truly cares about ALL of her students and is passionate about their success. Extra curricular activities abound in a variety of areas. The Career Pathways curriculum focus encourages students to explore areas of interest and ability. A broad variety of pathways are available with technical, trade and college-bound emphasis. The Associated Student Body is very focused on student involvement and provides a broad variety of events, activities and overall FUN! Clubs and service opportunities are available to all in a broad range of interests. While the ELD academic performance still has room for improvement, it's not for lack of academic preparation on the school's part. Keep an eye on DHS, they are headed in the right direction!
