Would not recommend this scroll for student's with an IEP. Would not recommend this school for out of staye teachers moving to the area, the culture is not accepting of newcomers and not open to new ideas.. I personally have never felt more unwelcomened, and dis valued as a professional.

Can not stress enough how much I despise this school. The only good thing I’ve found at this school was my daughters kindergarten teacher (Jennifer Nolen) who has since moved schools. We have had issues with every other teacher and almost every other staff member. The teachers are arrogant and are rude to not only the parents but also the kids. My child was bullied BY TEACHERS and nothing was done about it. The principal will protect the teachers who are her friends and do nothing about it. After moving to this school my kids performance and grades have dropped and they hate coming to school. They were doing so well at their previous school and we can not wait to start at our new school in the coming school year! There is a huge lack of communication between the teachers and parents even when parents reach out. When the staff members/teachers mess up it’s never owned up and always pushed to the side or not even talked about even when proven to be in the wrong. I have heard nothing but negative reviews from other parents as well. I would not recommend this school to anyone and can’t wait to never see this school again!

Horrible, I'm scared to bring my child to school here every day, the staff here is rude very rude.... and they pick and choose who can do what when ever!

Dickson is not a friendly place at all for outsiders. The school is not the exception, the buddy system, favorites and racist. My kids hate going to school, and often became "sick" so they begged to stay home(didn't fall for that one) I almost guarrantee the good reviews are done by the faculty's faithful friends.

OES is a wonderful school. The teachers are very involved and truly care about the students. The principal is very interactive with the staff and students. The staff is always having events for the students and parents. I am very satisfied with every aspect of the learning experience my children are getting at OES.

I love Oakmont! My child is getting an excellent education there. He also receives wonderful care for a chronic condition. Thank you, Oakmont Staff. :)
