If I could leave zero stars I would. My child was held prisoner at this school and has suffered irreparable harm from the negligence of the staff, who were constantly in non compliance of federal and state disability laws. The absolute worst choice of schools for autistic young people: they are literally punished and denied privileges for autistic behaviors they cannot control. Not the place for ND kiddos, it’s a trauma factory. No transparency, they will refuse a classroom observation to hide the mistreatment of autistic students.

Bradley school is a wonderful school. Most of the teachers and the principal love and nurture the students. You're always going to have a bad apple or 2 in the bunch. But for the most part it's almost perfect. I have 2 children that attend right now, one that graduated last year, and another that will probably be attending in a couple years.

Lack of transparency, difficult communication between parents and staff. Staff tend to hide important details only to secure funding. My son with mild autism entered the school for having behavioral problems. After 2 months only, he developed a state of Catatonia and his behavior got much much worse. I could sense the neglect of the school as they failed to report change in his behaviors. I understood from him he was being left alone for a long time and some teachers were making fun of his disabilities. I am writing this review hoping that parents will keep their eyes wide open and that the “confidentiality” veil they are hiding behind will be lifted. Lack of transparency opens the door to abuse. This problem should be seriously tackled

Love this school! My daughter has flourished here! The teachers are fantastic! They have a great involved principal as well! Overall they really try to make a difference and they focus on positive reinforcement with the PAWS program. Great School!

The Principal sets the stage for a positive experience every time someone enters the school. The staff seem very much appreciated and it shows through their interactions with the children. The work is appropriate for the grade levels. Bradley School has improved by leaps and bounds over the past couple years. However, there is a lack of supervision at times that can lead to children being hurt and lack of follow through to assist parents/students.

This school is all heart! From the principal on down, you can see the dedication each staff member has! Mr. Ciccarini sets the standard for excellence. There is a lot of school pride and it's a great and positive environment for the students!

My son will be graduating this year I have had a great experience with all the staff. I love the open communication that the teachers have with the parents and all the exciting activities for all the children. I know that the teachers are always willing to go the extra mile with helping a child that struggles in a certain area to get them where they need to be.

Bradley School has come a long way since a leadership change with Mario Ciccarini as principal. My daughter has been in Bradley school for two years, she had Mrs. Sill and now has Miss Moore. Both of these woman give their heart and soul to the children, they are kind, patient and understanding, but firm and assure the curriculum is taught correctly to each an every child before moving on. The environment is welcoming, the school has had a good amount of work done to it. There are words of encouragement on the walls in every hallway. You feel welcome to come into the school and learn about what your child does on a daily basis. We get daily reports on behavior, and those children who work hard get recognized and rewarded which encourages all of their peers to do the same. I feel the current rating is based on comments from 2013 and is in no way a reflection of the school today at the end of the 2016 school year.

My Child has been in this school since her Kindergarten and is now in 2nd Grade. She absolutely loves this school, teachers and the overall environment. It is a great school and has an extremely friendly and well behaved group of students that have created a fine environment that is extremely welcoming and positive.

My son switched schools in the middle of kindergarten. He loves it here and has learned so much. He is very shy but has adjusted very well and the teachers are very helpful in understanding his needs.

Student to teacher ratio in kindergarten is above 20 to 1. Bullying seems to be an issue with a class size so large. Unfortunately it was brought up to me by my child and not the teacher after the teacher had witnessed the incident. It is also unevenly distributed with the majority of the class being boys. Child academic expectation are much lower in comparison to other Connecticut districts. During open house teacher stated they expected children to know numbers 1- 30; and had not yet chosen 2013-2014 mathbook of choice for the class. Although the school has a new principal I do expect positive more changes and the the environment and curriculum already in place.

great school, unfortuately my kids don't always behave so the notes home and calls are excessive.
